Doug Minor Joins Bradley Arant in Jackson
Bradley Arant Rose & White LLP is pleased to announce that J. Douglas Minor Jr. has joined the firm’s Jackson office as a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Minor’s primary area of practice includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in business tort cases involving contract and insurance disputes. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in both state and federal courts, and his appellate experience includes appearances before the Second and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
Mr. Minor’s clients include national and international financial services and lending institutions, as well as several small businesses. He has served as trial counsel and worked with national law firms on behalf of corporate defendants in Mississippi state courts and in Multidistrict Litigation. Mr. Minor has tried cases on behalf of plaintiffs in several multi-party fraud actions throughout the state, and has advised clients from the discovery process through state and federal appeals.
Mr. Minor received his A.B. in Economics from Harvard University and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is actively involved with several local charities and St. James’ Episcopal Church, where he serves as the secretary of the Vestry. He joins Bradley Arant from Pigott, Reeves, Johnson & Minor, P.A. in Jackson, Mississippi.
